Teltonika first

Trackers we sell and support

We sell and support Teltonika trackers, one of the most widely used makes in the world. The first letters of a Teltonika model name tell you the mobile network it uses:

01

FMB: 2G (not sold)

The “B” models use the 2G network. We no longer sell them, because UK operators have announced plans to retire 2G and 3G over the coming years.

Own one already? Choose plan only

Works for as long as the 2G network does

Our trackers are all 4G

02

FMC: 4G (LTE Cat 1)

The “C” models use ordinary 4G. They are our usual recommendation: fast, widely available and future-proof.

Best all-round choice

Good coverage in towns and on roads

Our default recommendation

03

FMM: LTE-M with 2G fallback

The “M” models use LTE-M, a low-power form of 4G, and fall back to 2G where it is not available.

Very low power

Coverage is a little patchier than Cat 1

Best where signal is generally good

In the UK we suggest a 4G model for a tracker you want to keep for years. UK mobile operators have announced plans to retire their 2G and 3G networks in the coming years.

Families in plain words

Which kind of tracker is right?

Plug-and-play and OBD

Fit in a minute with no tools, either into the OBD socket under the dashboard or the cigarette-lighter socket.

Self-fit
Easy to move between vehicles
Visible if someone looks for it

Advanced (hardwired)

Wired to the vehicle's power and hidden. Advanced models add inputs and outputs for ignition, doors, sensors and driver keys.

Hidden
Keeps tracking while parked
Self-fit or auto-electrician

CAN and heavy-duty

Read data from the vehicle itself, or connect extra equipment on larger vehicles and plant.

Vehicle data where supported
Professional fitting recommended
We check your vehicle first

Battery asset trackers

No wiring and no vehicle power. A tracker with its own battery for trailers, tools and equipment.

Place it and go
Some are rechargeable
Great for non-powered assets

Many other brands

Not a Teltonika? Ask us

Our service works with trackers from many popular brands, through standard protocols, a hundred or more models in all. We do not publish a brand list because what matters is your exact model, so tell us the make and model and we will confirm before you buy anything.

Bring your own device

Already have a tracker?

A plan-only order covers the tracking service for a tracker you already own. Tell us the make, model and IMEI (the 15-digit number on the label), and we confirm it works and send you the settings to use. If your tracker needs a data SIM, choose the SIM included plan and we supply one; with the own SIM plan you keep using yours.

Before you buy

A short checklist

Check that your tracker has a working SIM (or tell us you need one), that its network (2G or 4G) will still be around in a few years, and that it suits the vehicle. If you are replacing an older Teltonika model, you can usually keep using it: choose plan only.
